Sigma Pi Sigma and GRASP is hosting a poster competition for the department. We encourage everyone to enter and attend to get some practice presenting their research and see what everyone else in the department is doing! This competition will take place on October 6th in the Science Building (room 106) and is open to undergraduate and graduate students alike. Undergraduates will be judged in a different category than graduate students. Abstract submissions are due September 15th roughly by the end of the day, and poster submissions are due Monday Oct 2nd by 8am. Posters need to be in PDF format and must be designed to fit within the confines of a 30" high x 40" wide area (based on theTexas APS poster guidelines). Further information about where and when your poster will be hanging will be sent out once all the abstracts have been submitted and entrants sorted by category. Awards will be given for the best posters. Posters will be judged based on two major criteria 1) How interesting is the topic? 2) How well is the research presented?
